Hello all! I am Anna Schwartz, LCAT, ATR-BC, a licensed creative arts therapist, registered and board-certified art therapist, mom, and eternal student of all things related to self-improvement. I have a passion for helping people of all ages discover their natural ability to use art to build insight, resiliency, and cope with the symptoms of mental illness and general life stressors. I currently work at BryLin, an acute inpatient psychiatric hospital in Buffalo. I provide individual and group art therapy to children, teenagers, and adults. More recently, I am excited by my role in the creation and establishment of Create Space Buffalo, a community art therapy studio located in the Elmwood Village. I believe that my role as an art therapist is to sit with you in the pain and dance with you during triumphs over what has challenged you. It is not my job to give advice. It is my job to provide the materials, support, and guidance needed to help each client find their own way. YOU are the expert on YOU.
