Lynette L. Gawron is a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist in New York State (LCAT), Registered and Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC). Additionally, Lynette holds a PhD in holistic health which allows for a holistic perspective of the therapeutic experience.
Lynette specializes in trauma therapy (EMDR), addictions, and holistic wellness with individuals, groups and families. She is currently employed on the Renaissance Campus, with Kids Escaping Drugs (KED), where she provides treatment to adolescents and young adults struggling with chemical dependency. She also works in private practice, where she provides community workshops and does contract work in schools. Lynette will be teaching an upcoming course at Nazareth College in Rochester, centering on the treatment of chemical dependency and substance abuse with art therapy.
