Katie Mullaney is a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist and Board Certified Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT, ATR-BC) in New York State. She graduated from Nazareth College of Rochester's Creative Arts Therapy Master's program in 2009.
Katie has worked with at-risk youth in a day treatment school, teens and adults in an outpatient substance abuse clinic, children and teens in an outpatient mental health clinic, as well as children, teens and adults in acute mental health inpatient care.
Most recently, Katie has co-founded a community art therapy studio together with fellow Art Therapist Anna Schwartz LCAT, ATR-BC, called Create Space Buffalo.
At CSB Katie and Anna offer a weekly group art therapy experience for adults to explore art as an expressive outlet and mode for self-care. CSB a space for the community to come in to PAUSE, CREATE and GROW; A planned break in your week to re-focus on yourself, reflect and express yourself through various art mediums, and remind yourself of your resiliency and strengths to utilize on your journey moving forward.
